Stephen's It's Bleak but Certainly Not Low

The A walkers met today in the car park at the entrance to the Woodhead Tunnels, Derbyshire SK13 1JE, OS grid reference SK 113 999 at 10 am. The distance and ascent of the walk were 11.09 miles and 1,990 feet, according to ViewRanger on an iPhone 4S. There were 29 people on the walk. Here is the route:

It was a dry bright day with only a slight breeze, and good underfoot.
