Stephen's Scouting for Dikes

The A walkers met today at the shops near the Denby Dale viaduct HD8 8QH, grid reference SE 225 084 at 10 am. The distance and ascent of the walk were 9.4 miles and 1,011 feet, according to ViewRanger on an iPhone 4S. There were 22 people on the walk. Here is the Route:

It was dry and sunny with only a light breeze, and very wet and muddy underfoot.
