David's Fountains & Moats

The A walkers met today at Visitor Centre, Fountains Abbey HG4 3DY, grid reference SE 272 687 at 10 am. The distance and ascent of the walk were 12.5 miles and 1,010 feet, according to ViewRanger on a Moto X Play. There were 12 people on the walk, with most of the group away in Sicily. It was dry with a cold wind at times, and good underfoot.
