The A walkers met today at Todmorden Railway Station OL14 7AA, grid reference SD 935 241 at 10 am. The distance and ascent of the walk were 11.2 miles and 2,117 feet, according to ViewRanger on a Moto X Play. There were 9 people at the walk, which reduced to 6 by the end. One walker was injured and two dropped out.

There was light rain for most of the day, and it was a little windy on the highest ground. It was difficult and hazardous underfoot on two sections of the walk.
