The A walkers met today at the large layby on the A624 half a mile south of Chunal, Glosop SK13 6JY, grid reference SK 033 910, at 10 am. The distance and ascent of the walk were 11.1 miles and 2,340 feet, according to ViewRanger on a Moto X Play. There were 21 people on the walk.

It was dry, warm and sunny, with little wind. It was rocky underfoot on some of the paths.
